SUMMER TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES: We are always looking for bright, motivated people to work with our students. Currently, we are hiring Summer Program Instructors. In this role, the primary responsibility is delivering innovative, hands-on inquiry-based learning experiences for K-3 or 4-8 grade students at Talcott Mountain Science Center. Courses are one week in length, running from June 19 through August 11, 2023. Instruction topics may include: LEGO robotics, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, 3D design/printing, filmmaking, Earth science, space science, engineering, genetics, bioengineering, LEGO Science, meteorology, computer game making, green energy, chemistry, computer graphics, animation, marine science, rocketry, geocaching, and coding.
