Skygazing | Thursday, October 19, 6:00pm

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY! Join TMSC staff on Thursday, October 19th at 6:00 PM* for an enlightening evening observing the night sky from the top of Talcott Mountain!

Arrive on campus and catch the tailend of the colorful sky from the top of Talcott Mountain as the sun sets at 6:02pm. As we wait for the skies to darken and the stars to shine, we'll head into the Captain Alan M. Bean Planetarium to learn about the night sky and the upcoming Orionid Meteor Shower.

Finally, we'll head back outdoors for celestial viewing atop Talcott Mountain. With a wide array of telescopes at our disposal, we'€™ll be looking for stars, planets (including Neptune) and other celestial gems, including the Andromeda Galaxy -- an autumn classic.
