Nancy M. La Salle Memorial Scholarship

Nancy La Salle fought a brave battle with cancer for several years.
That battle ended in the spring of 2002, and her husband Don La Salle and his family
have established a memorial scholarship fund in her name.

Nancy was secretary and administrative assistant for the Science Center and Academy
for many years. Much more than that, she had a special place in her heart for Talcott Mountain,
as it was her family's work and passion since its founding in the 1960s. She worked tirelessly,
humbly, and with great humor to support the staff and students. Nancy was always very proud
of the accomplishments that sprang from these efforts, and particularly of the successes gained
by the students.

It is in this spirit that we are accepting donations in her name
to fund deserving students at the Science Center and Academy.
