The 2017 Amazing Eclipse

If you can't travel to the path of the eclipse, join us for the next best thing; experience this unique natural phenomenon with TMSC! 


K-8 STUDENTS: Don’t miss this special one-day, hands-on program to view and learn about the eclipse!


What is a solar eclipse? With fun, hands-on activities, students will explore the sun, light and shadow, and discover the science behind a total solar eclipse! Students will learn how to view the eclipse safely and build their own viewing devices.


$60 per student | REGISTER ONLINE


PUBLIC VIEWING FROM 2 - 4 P.M.  Parents, siblings & friends are invited
 to learn about and view the eclipse with telescopes and other equipment that is properly outfitted for solar viewing. Please RSVP if you plan to attend the public event as space is limited. Registration will be closed when capacity has been reached.  FREE | RSVP ONLINE


Students should bring lunch and a snack. Dress for the weather and 
outdoor adventures 
(don’t forget sunscreen!).
